When it comes to versatility and consistency, not many MCs can claim as diverse wide a range of experience that his 10 years of microphone service has given him. Whether performing in front of 10 of thousand hiphop fans in Kuala Lumpur opening a concert for Missy Elliot, to touring China in 2003 with Dj Roobles of Kitachi, or performing live on Europe Music Day in Athens with Freesytle Rec´s Quasamodo & The Q-Orchestra 8 piece band, or hosting sets for electronic music titans Kruder & Dorfmeister, Felix da House Cat, Meat Katie, Tiefschwarz, Stereotyp, Coppa´s home is certified on the stage.
A career on stage that has seen him performing worldwide, as far as Malaysia, Singapore, Siberia, Russia, Finland. The last years has seen Coppa as an live MC & host catapulted to the forefront of international Drum and Bass music, consistently headlining at clubs and festivals across Europe and beyond with a who´s who of A-List artists such as DANNY BYRD, APHRODITE, TANTRUM DESIRE, RONI SIZE, BLACK SUN EMPIRE, ED RUSH & OPTICAL, ADAM F, NOISIA, FUTUREBOUND & MATRIX, DIESELBOY, LOGISTICS and many more.
Though already a known quantity outside of dnb in the recording world., it is his stand out collaboration with Prolix, released by DJ HYPE and PASCAL´s mighty PLAYAZ RECORDINGS at the end of summer 2012, that has catapulted Coppa´s vocal in the talents into a wider spotlight of worldwide dnb. Receiving regular airplay on BBC1 Radio from FRICTION, Kiss FM with DJ Hype and Crissy Criss on 1xtra and with support from the industry’s leading players, such as CHASE & STATUS, FUTUREBOUND & MATRIX, DRUMSOUND & BASSLINE SMITH,ED RUSH, AUDIO, METRIK, ALIX PEREZ, CAMO & KROOKED, THE PROTOTYPES, CLACK SUN EMPIRE, THE SCRATCH PERVERTS, US dubstep heavyweight’s DATSIK & KILLBOT, saw the “On Like That EP” topping multiple download charts within the first month of its release.. Following this have been much well received tracks with MINDSCAPE (Critters) on Commercial Suicide and TELEKINESIS (Pocket Full of Drops) on Jade´s Eatbrain imprint that have found their way into the bags of djs worldwide. With no sign of slowing down, this year sees more. Coppa laced drum and bass tracks including collabs with dnb titans BLACK SUN EMPIRE & AUDIO, THE UPBEATS and more in store with PROLIX on Playaz.
Coppa´s studio output of the drum and bass industry is equally as impressive. This includes over 50 releases on prestigious such Kruder & Dorfmeister’s G-Stone label, Cut La Roc´s (with whom his is consistently collaborating with since 2010) Rocstar Records, the legendary SKINT rec, Freestyle Records UK, as writer on Bob Sinclar´s Yellow productions and techno legends Len Faki´s Figure Rec & Francios K´s Wave Music alongside of host of compilation releases on Warner Music/Sony Dance, Universal & BMG Germany.
Currently he is collaborating in the studio with the likes of Cut La Roc, The Beatmonkeys, Run Riot, Afghan Headspin, Black Sun Empire & Audio , Prolix and releasing music on some of the biggest electronic music labels on the map.
